Spray paint it with tow light coats with Rutoleum 2X for metal allowing to dry in-betweenHelpful Reply -

Clean it well. Let it dry. Prime coat or two, then paint. Make sure to purchase paint for metal. Spray paint might be the easiest. Then seal, for longer wear and tear. Let dry well between each coat.Helpful Reply -

Rustolium spray paint will be your best bet . Take it apart first and spray the parts separately . Allow to dry completely before reassembling.Helpful Reply -
