
Best paint to use on old wood to make the sign below....

If it's wood that does not have any finish on it, pretty much any paint will work. If the wood is finished with some kind of varnish or sealant, you can use chalk paint so you don't have to sand it.Helpful Reply -

Also if it's going to be an outdoor sign, you could use exterior (house) paint.Helpful Reply -

No matter what paint you use, make sure to put good coats of a top coat on it so that the paint will not fade so fast. Marine poly would protect it from the sun and weather for years.Helpful Reply -
