I'm getting brush strokes that are horrible! Using a nylon paint brush.
No I don't think that will work. Why do you want to do it on foam?
I suspect you want light weight... I'd use foam core from Dollar Tree. Light AND has cardboard on both sides.I'd also use a cheap frame from Dollar Tree or a thrift shop to hide the edges.
I also don't think it will work. Foam is not solid enough. Would cause dents and grooves when writing.
Hi there, check out this video here about making a chalkboard with chalk mineral paint. The chalkboard is mentioned about 20 minutes in. You probably will need to use a different type of surface. https://www.facebook.com/DixieBellePaint/videos/1538543136273202/ Have a great day and happy painting! :)
Hi Mable, You can turn just about anything into a chalkboard but you do need a fairly firm surface. Have fun!
