How do I paint with chalk board paint without getting streaks?

I'm getting brush strokes that are horrible! Using a nylon paint brush.

Try a small roller. If you use a brush, it's best to invest in a good one. Cheap ones can leave clumps unfortunately.
Sand it all down so it is smooth and use small white dense foam roller for a smoother finish. Cari is correct about buying good paint brushes. Wooster is a good brand or Purdy--found at Home Depot or Menards. I do not like nylon brushes as they leave lots of brush marks. You can also buy a spray chalkboard paint for the smoothest finish.
