How can I tint and make glossy a flat white paint?
I purchased a flat white paint and ended up having too much. Can I tint it? How could I do it. Also add something to make it a little glossy

Take it back to the paint store they can add tint. You can also add a,quart of same kind of paint in a gloss finish. They can mix it for you.
Hi JoAnne. Absolutely. You should be able to take the paint back to where you purchased it and they will almost always tint it for you. Just remember that if the can is not full they may not be able to adjust their tinting process for partially full cans.
Don't know about glossy additives. But I have added a mustard colored latex craft paint to leftover latex flat linen-colored paint to achieve a pale yellow shade that perfectly matched the background of the upper wallpaper border (remember those?). The trick is adding a much deeper color than you expect the final color to be and mixing well. Could not give you exact proportion, but approximately one oz. bottle saturated color craft paint to one quart of latex paint. Use less for paler colors.
