Can I use Polyurethane Acrylic Enamel paint to make chalk paint?
I want to make my own chalk paint.
There are so many different recipes out there but the one I use is in my blog post for a dresser makeover that I did.

I make a paste out of plaster or paris and water, and then add paint. The results are the perfect chalk paint with great coverage. I don't use exact measurements. If it's too thick, add more paint.
There are many methods, but my favorite is a mixture of 2 parts latex paint (I prefer satin) to 1 part calcium carbonate (chalk).
2 Parts Paint
To
1 Part Calcium Carbonate
Step 1: Measure Calcium Carbonate and Paint. Use separate cups.
Step 2: Dilute Calcium Carbonate in Warm Water. Slowly add water to calcium carbonate until it is completely diluted. Don't add too much water.
Step 3: Once diluted, pour diluted calcium carbonate into paint and stir for 3 to 5 minutes.
