I have a few laundry room cabinets that are plain white. They are melamine, with that pebble finish. Can these be painted? Have you ever done it? What paint did you use? What primer is the best for this project?

It should alright as long a there is a key for the t to stick to, i.e. sand the melamine with a heavy grade sand-paper.

Prime it with ESP Surface Preparation. You can paint over anything after using this stuff.

I think you mean TSP?? However, it is just a heavy duty cleaner. They will need a good bonding primer. :)

NO. I mean "Easy Surface Prep" "from the makers of Penetrol, the painter's best friend. Sold worldwide for over 60 years." A trademark of the Flood Company, 4 Nelson Street, Padstow NSW 2211 Australia. You wipe it on, wipe it off then after 90minutes, you can paint it.
