Can I paint my popcorn ceiling?
I have been painting my walls and notice that my ceiling looks yellowish. Can I paint this ceiling as well? I'm up for any ideas
White wash it for a rustic look, I have a similar ceiling, but it's Tongue in Groove with exposed beams. Track lighting mounted on a wall angled towards the ceiling will also brighten the room as an alternative.
That is a beautiful ceiling, I would try to add more lighting to the room to see if that helps. What are the walls? If sheetrock, I would paint a light color and use a few mirrors to bounce light around the room. Or . . . You can always install a new ceiling over the current one and paint it.
white wash would be the best choice
Whitewash or paint it white
I would not change it. I am for anything that doe snot have to have any maintenance. I have his color paneling on the walls, real wood. I used to hate it. Then I changed the furniture and rugs to a deep red (family room) with a beautiful oriental rug with red. Now the room is beautiful. Everyone loves it...
I love the wood, I'd find ways to brighten the rest of the room. More lights, open window covers, light color walls and accents.
