How do you paint your base boards in a room with carpet?

Without removing them!
Annie, the easiest way to paint and not bump the wall is to use painters blue tape on the wall. It comes off without doing any damage. It is made for special places such as the base boards (you can put it on the floor if it is not carpet too), for window panes and anywhere you do not want the paint to touch. Hope this helps Annie.
Tape them use blue tape after paint is almost dry then remove tape
Frog Tape works better than the "blue tape"
A good quality 3" angle cut in paint brush and a steady hand will allow you to paint without taping. Watch a YouTube video on how to pull paint with a brush. Start being a door or in a closet to get a feel for it. It takes about 2 feet to figure it out.
thank you
Tape is the best way. Also a good angled brush will help you get paint only where you want it!
Hi Annie: Besides the tape, which is pretty good, you can remove the molding, or loosen it and put cardboard behind the area you are painting and move it along as you paint. When finished, just tap the molding back. You can use the tape on the floor. Good luck
