I have a glossy metal headboard someone gave me and I would like to paint it. However, I'm not sure if I just prime before painting or do something else.
I would suggest chalk paint! it works nicely on almost every surface! Best of luck!
I would say, probably a Satin Finish as it would be more durable and can be wiped over.
