How do I get more air movement?
This pellet stove heats the dining room and kitchen, but doesn’t move heat to other parts of the house. I’ve tried a fan in different positions around the stove but not helpful. Maybe it would help to reposition the stove itself, but how?

While I only know a little bit about pellet stoves, I do know you need the correct size unit for the area you wish to heat. It would require a blower assembly of some sort. Go back to the store where you purchased to see if they can help. Or look up on line at the manufacturers website and check with customer service. Here are some sites to help you out.

Many cottages around here are heated with fireplaces/, gas/pellet stoves.
Here are the inexpensive solutions used:
Ceiling fans: They help a great deal to move the air.
There are also fans you can put in walls: https://www.homedepot.com/p/ThruWall-7-5-8-in-Transfer-Fan-TW108/100047556
You need a small fan in the upper right corner of the doorway going out
There are small fans that sit on top of the stove and the heat sets it off. No wiring required. They are called EcoFans and run around $100 for the largest size. This gets the air moving from the stove to the exterior of the room. Heat rises so you should install a ceiling fan to move the air into adjacent rooms.
Mu suggestions would be to get a fan kit for your stove, put in a ceiling fan, and if you have a central unit air then turn that fan on to circulate through the whole house. The ceiling fan and fan on my ac unit is what I do and i works great. My stove also has a fan on it. Good luck.
Mine wasn’t a pellet stove but a gas log fireplace still it would run me out of the room anytime I used it. I did the portable fan thing for a couple of years. Already had ceiling fans everywhere but they didn’t do much to move the heat to any other room. Finally, installed an air handler. The Intake vent was placed right next to the fireplace. In winter, the warm air is pulled in from that room and distributed all over the house. I can now stay in the living room and enjoy the fireplace and keeps my heating bill low too.
