I might call a Heating and Cooling guy. I lost my eyebrows once. Carbon Monoxide is also nothing to mess around with. -

Don't want to mess with that, get the HVAC guy in to take a look. -

Too many variables. Could be the thermostat, gas valve, fan and limit control, exhaust sensor (if there is one. Each system would need to be checked out. Cal an HVAC pro. Nothing to mess with. -

I agree with Rosemary. Unless you have experience with furnaces, this isn't a DIY. -
