Try an emery board for finger nails or some sandpaper.
Yes, use an emery board. It will take awhile but it will be smooth. I've used an emery board on crystal goblets & the chip was smoothed nicely although still present.
I've had luck with sandpaper, but its a delicate task. Good luck!!!
A very fine file, or several emery boards. Go slowly, gently in one direction first then the other.
Use a dremel sanding bit.
Silicone carbide sandpaper--it's the black paper with grit that sparkles. There are different grits too. It's often used to finish auto paint projects. I've used it to finish stone sculpture too.
