Try white vinegar.

Put it in the dishwasher and pour 1 Cup of vinegar into the dishwasher bottom before running a cycle.

there are 2 methods I use. The pot from my Huss did office is terrible!! I fill the glass pot with HOT water Nd some bleach oured into it also. It is amazing how cleat and and clear it comes out. Then was with soapy hot water to remove anything on the pot before to brew in it. For regular cleaning just put white vinegar through a cycle of brewing. Then remove the filter and do twice again to remove vinegar taste. Works great.
