I am looking for a diy or hack for a 5-gas burner protector...

I have a 5-burner gas stove with 2 ovens (and I love it!). But burner protectors only cover 4. I've been using aluminum foil to cover all 5, but wonder if anyone has seen a product, or has a diy or hack.

Why is it that you need protectors? My daughter has a six burner gas stove and until this house I always had a gas stove and never have heard of this particular feature.- See 5 previous

For a temporary fix, you could try using a round or square metal pie plate turned upside down. You should remove this when using the burner. If desired, you could paint it to match your decor and to help it blend in better. -
