How can I stop my Microwave from sliding on the counter top?

How can I stop my Microwave from sliding on the counter top every time I open the door to microwave something. I tried putting a towel under it but it still slides Any suggestions

Look for a silicone mat. That should keep it in place and also be fine with any heat that comes from the food in the microwave. Wishing you the best.
One possibility; would be an open weave shelf liner. A material like that is used under wheel chair cushions.
Don't think I would feel to good about using a rubber mat. Microwaves generate heat. Would silcone hot pads work?
Please go with heat resistant mat. They are reliable and good heat insulators. The silicone or rubber mat stops microwave heat from reaching the countertop and prevents the microwave from unwanted sliding problemsš.
A heat resistant silicone mat would work well for this, the dollar store non-slip mats are a safety risk because of the heat a microwave can generate during use.
Get some non-skid shelf liner to put under it.
