How do I stop my freezer door from popping open?
Every time I open and shut the fridge the freezer door pops open. I have called the company and they say it will straighten itself out.It is 5 years old and out of warranty. How can this be corrected

How odd. Is the seal clean? Is the freezer over stuffed so that the door can't seal / close properly? Sorry, but I do not accept the company telling you it will right itself. They probably thought you were gullible enough to accept that answer. There must be a specific reason. What is the make and model of the refrigerator? We can Google and see if other people are having the same issue.
Sounds like your hinge might be out of alignment.
Try adjusting the hinge. My son has a habit of tugging downward on the door so I just had to do the same thing about a month ago. It's located at the top of the fridge. Loosen the bolts (you'll need a helper) have someone hold the door in the correct place then just tighten the bolts back down
