there has to be a screw somewhere on the part on the wall
There might be a screw on the bottom of the fixture- it looks a lot like a few I’ve installed . there is a mounting plate to hold the decorative part, and a small screw that secures it to the plate.
Hi Aubrey,
I have one that looks similar to yours. Try looking on the side of the connection to see if there is a screw that takes off the straight piece. That might reveal the one that's holding it to the wall. Wishing you the best.
Or it could be that you just have to press against the wall and lift straight up. Fixing might be a sort of keyhole shape that locates on to a screw in the wall..........
I'm thinking the part that holds the toilet paper turns. Try gently turning it counter counterclockwise and see if it moves and unscrews.
The round part of the holder may be held up by having slid it on to a small square plate, then snapped down into one of the edges. (The screws going into the wall are screwed into the holes in the plate.)
To remove, just reverse the procedure: pull up and out to release from the plate edge, then slide off to one side.
Look for a Grub screw underneath or lift it straight up, or if stuck, lever it off with a paint scraper.
