How can I preserve a note my mom wrote on painted drywall?
I was taking wallpaper down in the kitchen of the house my mom and dad built, which I inherited. I found a fun love note mom wrote on the painted drywall, then wallpapered over. It's right in the middle of the wall! I'd like to frame it where it is, but I wonder about cutting it out and framing the piece of drywall, then patching the hole. I don't want to risk having it crumble. Any ideas? Thank you!

Cut a large square around it to save it, then patch the hole and you can have the piece you cut out framed.
How sweet!!! My vote is to cut it out and shadow box it. That way if you ever move you can take with you. Also take a photo or two to show placement on wall. Then patch and repair drywall.
You could cut out the dry wall and fram it take lots o pictures also try to get one printed large and frame it
Thank you everyone! All of you agree - so do I! This is a real treasure. Thanks so much!
