I need to know what to do to my popcorn ceiling , can you help ?

MY POPCORN CEILING IS OLD AND STAINED, I NEED SOMETHING EASY THAT I CAN DO , I AM A SENIOR AND A WOMAN THAT WORKS ON MY HOUSE ALL THE TIME. I JUST PAINTED CABINETS IN KITCHEN, PUTTING UP BACK SPLASH AND NOW NEED A FLOOR FOR IT . i ALWAYS LOOK FOR DIY ADVICE FOR EVERYTHING AND YOU GIVE ME THE COURAGE TO DO IT. THANKS FOR BEING THERE FOR ME

Try a heat gun at a corner to see if melts off.
Lightly spray it with hot water using a spray bottle. let it sit for 8-10 minutes. it'll scrape right off! You may have a little area needing a 2nd hit or gently sandpaper it! Then let the ceiling dry thoroughly...PAINT. It's messy --- but quick! :)
Get a thick concrete paint brush and use gloss white paint and paint it. It's not easy but you may want to hire some help.

You can paint it. Use a thick nap roller. Prime and paint.
You can cover it.
Remove it and hire someone to install tongue and groove in it's place.
Popcorn ceilings can be painted.
