Is there an easy way to fix a small hole in drywall?

We had a mishap and put a small (2-3 in diameter) hole in our wall. Hole is clear through, not just a dent.

Yes - home depot sells a kit drywall kit that can fix this!
There are small hole patch kits; has a mesh screen of some sort. you would then need to mud over, sand and paint. Good luck!
I agree with the replies above. Get a small patch kit. If the hole was smaller, I’d probably be tempted to just use some filler or patching compound, but it sounds like you need the mesh.
