Recently took down wallpaper and liner. I need to prep the walls for painting. However, first I need to clean off any wallpaper glue.

Hi Ann! My husband is doing our kitchen right now taking down wallpaper preparing to paint. He used some hot sudsy water with Pin-Sol and scrubbed it down after he treated the surface. Here is some information he found for this project. Good luck to you! Happy Holidays!

Water and vinegar works. Use a sponge and keep changing the water until the slimy glue feeling is gone.
I also hot water and vinegar in a spray bottle. A little elbow grease and wipe down with clear water for paint prep. Worked great.
I used warm water and 3 or 4 tablespoons of fabric softener in spray. Elbow grease is necessary and wipe down with clear water. I changed my cloth often.
