When the plasterboard tape shows through

What do you do when the plaster tape on the wall begins to push up and causes a ridge. Do you lift and re-tape or do you just plaster over it and feather it out?

Hi Smith, if its really bad I've carefully cut the lifted tape out with a utility knife (razor blade) and then just plastered over that.Helpful Reply -
