Can I convert a pendant light with cord to one with a chain?
I need to have a longer length than what is offered when you buy a pendant light. It has to hang on a slope thus needs to be flexible. HELP!

you can buy a kit to do exactly that. Or your next option is to take it to an electrical place and have them do it for you but yes it can be done -

You can weave the cord into a piece of chain. Is the pendant light not a pole type? -

You will have to get chain, the parts to connect the chain, and replace the cord with a longer one. Do not splice the cord. It is against code & is a fire hazard.
