How do I make a battery operated wall clock not run fast?

Wall clock does not keep the correct time. it runs fast. I need to remove it from wall and reset every few days.At one time, I manually moved the hands instead of using the button on back to go through the 12 hour cycle. Did this cause the problem? It is not the battery. Seth Thomas brand.

Give the company a call and ask them what you can do about this, have the make and model numbers in hand.
The internals of the clock mechanism have failed. Either replace the mechanism or the clock. There are no adjustments.
Hello Mary You mentioned that it was a battery operated clock. Is it possible for you to remove the mechanism that the battery goes in and replace it with a new one?
