How do I trace romex behind drywall?
I have two outlets in my garage that is showing a open neutral, the garaged is finished in drywall so the romex is hidden. I believe I hit a cable while installing cabinets. What’s the best way to find out where the romex runs without tearing apart my wall. All wiring within the effected outlet boxes appears to be okay.

Once you find the short, remove power from the garage and then repair, replace the romex.
Sammy,. If your hanging cabinets, always find the stud. If you had the spects on your drywall this would help you locate the Romex. I'd call an electrician, don't play with this. Aloha!
