Hi Cheryl, make sure they are getting direct sun to energize during the daytime and check the casing to see if it is on tight.
The only thing that I can think of is to replace the batteries with stronger ones. The higher the voltage, the brighter the lights will be. But... I don’t know if higher voltage batteries will damage the LED lights. Also, batteries have an Ah rating. The higher the number, the longer the charge lasts, which may give you a brighter look.
Ok, I was hoping that putting it in a glass globe would work.
You could reengineer the enclosures to make a new light with glass that would allow slightly more light transmission. Adding a glass globe to existing fixtures will slightly reduce the amount of light. Amazon sells several styles of solar pathway lights that are advertised as "super bright". Of course the bright ones are not what you would get at Dollar Tree, meaning they aren't cheap by comparison.
