You may be able to find someone that can weld cast iron. Call some welding contractors. Cast iron needs special treatment - even Gorilla Glue may fail.
Welding by a local welder would probably solve the problem. Good luck on the repair.
Lyn, I had the same problem. The cost of welding was too much for what the chair was worth but the set was pretty on our back porch. I fit a piece of 2x2 wood against the back of the leg and bolted it into place in 4 places. After it was painted to match the chair it didn’t show very much. If the chair is placed properly that leg doesn’t show at all. This is not an elegant solution but no one ever notices the repair.
