Unfortunately, the veneer on the top has wrinkled, peeled and chipped. What do you suggest for refinishing the top?

I would peel off the veneer, see what type of wood was under then sand, stain or paint! If the top is too far gone, remove it and get a glass top cut to size & shape of your choice! Makes a pretty vanity, as well as a base for a sink! Many, many options! Good luck!

Clean the cabinets let dry ,strip and restain, then maybe use them as a desk or additional storage.

I just read on pinterest of someone with this problem. He said to peel what you can off and like the comment before check out the wood. only he added a wood filler to even out the surface. then he sanded it and bought some wood stain a sealer. are you going to use them as end tables? hope you post a picture. I love to see how people make things pretty
