Is the area gaping open or is it just a slit? Can you get the 2 edges to meet? If you can get the edges to meet..there are glues for plastic that you can use. I duct taped on the back of the and front to keep all in place to dry. -

Hi Mary,I'm assuming that you mean a hard plastic chair, not a chair with a soft plastic seat. Is that right? If so, there are products available to help you repair that hard type plastic.
