Mirrors get re-silvered. You can take to a glass and mirror shop to have done professionally, or there are a variety of do it yourself products available at craft, hardware and home improvement stores.
Resilvering? It's really not something that most homeowners can do without special materials. Check out the information here: http://angelgilding.com/re-silvering-old-mirrors
There is a difference between reglazing and resilvering, resilvering speaks for itself, you put new silver on the back of the glass, reglazing is when the mirror is set in a frame of some sort and then a special putty is used to hold it in place, either one takes years of practice to get it right so you should go to a glass shop and talk to them.
