How do you repair cracks melamine kitchen cabinets?

My kitchen cabinet doors are melamine and some are cracked. How do I I fix cracks so I can repaint them.

Had another hometalker mention cracks in a melamine cabinet. I'm not understanding what could have cracked the particle board, so any recommendation for repair would just be guessing. Could you possibly supply a picture?
