How does one make the kitchen cabinet doors not to sound hollow cheap

I don't know how much you want to spend but they have these soft closing hinges that would close the door for you without any noise. Some more details and maybe a picture would help thoughHelpful Reply -

Glue on a 1/2 inch flat panel of plywood to the back panel of each cabinet door. Adjust my suggestion as necessary to your cabinets. Also attach thin felt pads to the cabinet doors so when the come into contact with the front the contact is softer.Helpful Reply -

This seems to be the trend these days no matter how expensive your cabinets. Keep in mind that construction of yesteryear is not the way they are made today. A lot of this is because materials have changed as well as less cumbersome design. This does not mean they are not as good, only different.Helpful Reply -
