veneer is very thin....about an eight of an inch. It’s finiky to work with.. it’s been a while bit I’m thinking rubber cement is what bob b. used...to adhere it to surfaces...no dust and wiped down with rubbing alcohol before applying..letting the etoh evaporate I coul be wrong...I bet there is a you tube video on it. -

If it is small chips you can use wood filler and sand.
