Our wooden dining room table is all scrathed up. Can we sand it?

Try Restore-Finish first. It will cover the scratches. Comes in colors to match all wood. About $9.00 a can at hardware stores. Wear plastic gloves. Rub on with soft cloth, wipe off with a 2nd cloth. Rub in direction of the grain. Worth a try. You would be done in less than 1 hour! I have saved many pieces of furniture with this product.
