How can I repair peeling coating on my IKEA Abstrakt cabinet's doors?

I have an old Ikea Kitchen but because Ikea changed the cabinet sizes in 2015 I cannot buy new doors. I have the high gloss Abstrakt doors. However they are peeling - well the clear glossy plastic is come off of a white semi gloss mdf? or something. However, it looks like you can pull off the supergloss clear thermafoil and use the doors that way? Is there any way to get a new supergloss finish ie painting or epoxy resin over it? Is there something not too expensive?

All you can do is remove the Thermofoil and paint.

Rustoleum 2X, and it comes in gorgeous spray and brush colors. Made for plastic and many other materials. You could “redecorate “ the whole kitchen by just redoing the doors of the kitchen cabinets. Jewell
Thanks everyone. At this point I was able to glue down the peeling thermafoil and hid e the damage with a stainless steel strip that I attached with E6000. Done for now. I think if it gets worse after a few years I can remove the thermafiole or plastic coat and just use the doors with a semi gloss finish (that's what happens when you remove the glear plastic coating. And then I hopefully can replace everything.
