I would use Elmer's Wood Glue and make sure you securely clamp the pieces being glued together for 24 hours or so.
I would use wood glue myself, but some use gorilla glue and other ones, too. Just make sure it says you can use it on wood.

I agree. Elmer's glue, and only a thin coat of it. Clamping very tight is crucial to your success. Good luck.

I have a low quality dresser. The boards keep popping out of the drawers. What type of wood glue would be best to secure the boards?
