Super tip! Sometimes drawer slides are not fully engaged from the factory so as to prevent any damage. The store or delivery person should have checked them out. Don"t use oil on drwaer slides or hinges. Oil attracts dirt. Check to make sure everything works properly before accepting delivery.
I had this problem with a new bought bedroom set. I went to the seller and he had men come out and fix it. Why do you want to do a
cut and pasten on something you invested good money and paid for it to work right? Talk to the seller.
This is so good to know!!! Thank you!!!

Try ivory snow soap 99%Pure soap on slides building movers use it on beams( it does not leave a greasy mess) when sliding houses onto beams
Try rubbing a bar of soap or a wax candle on the sides. This helps when I had old wooden windows that stick.
Another tip for these is taking old soap bar pieces. You rub the drawer and the slides. It will help them move!
