Our house was sided 24 years ago. There are spots that have broken or cracked. I would like to know how to repair vinyl siding instead of replacing it?

Several weeks ago when I was out weeding my front flower beds I noticed several holes in my vinyl siding. It looks as someone used a B B gun and shot at my house leav... See more
You should be able to take the piece off, and take it to a big box diy store..see if they can get you a close match. its a pretty common color, it just s hangs in place, shouldn’t be nailed down.
I have a mobile home with skirting, (similar material to your siding). It had some same sized holes in it. I covered them with gorilla tape that I painted white. It won't show from the street and it will keep bugs out until you can replace the pieces.
I filled my holes with very little, foam spray, cut it off level with siding and plan to paint it when I get the matching color! hoping it works!
Thee are tools at Home Depot or Lowes to remove damage panels . cut off damaged parts and replace with new piece .
I used white duck tape
Our experience with the same problem in the past was to buy a piece of siding exact or similar in color from a local big box store and replace the damaged piece with it.
Buy a replacement piece of vinyl for the space and replace.
I had a home that was covered in white vinyl, that I knocked holes in with rocks thrown up by the lawn mower. I just filled with white exterior caulk.
Use vinyl spackling and spackling knife. Use several coats if needed. Sand if needed after drying. Paint.
