We had hairline cracks in ours and I used swimming pool paint (had to buy a gallon :( but it worked. Has an "elastic" quality to it that sealed the cracks
Quikcrete has a product which is already mixed and ready to use for water leaks. They give you directions which are easy to follow. I have used the Quikcrete product to make and repair cement statues.
I used roofing cement. Tried the stuff in a spray can, no good.
