Removing a metal umbrella pole from concrete table in a chlorine pool

This pole is stuck due to corrosion I would assume. Is there a lubricant I can use to loosen the pole so I can pull it out?

Try spraying it with WD-40. That should help loosen it up if it is rusted.

I would give a shot with Liquid Wrench, it might take a few applications to really get down into all of it.

Try WD-40. It's a lubricant. If you don't want to save the pole, use a large wrench to grab the pole and twist it loose.

I agree with WD40 or even better PB Blaster. Auto repair shops use it to remove really rusted nuts and bolts.

I always try WD40 on any rusty metal but then after soaking it, and letting it sit, it may still not come out. What if you tap it with a rubber mallet after the WD40. Jut an idea. You might even have to call a pool manufacture/ installer.

I would give the wd 40 a try first. That stuff is amazing.
