I would expect to pay for two hours of the plumber's time.
depends on the expense of a new garbage disposal and what a plumber charges to install them I would say in the $200 range
Remove it, and do not replace it with another garbage disposal especially if you have a septic tank. They put all your food down the sewer and your lines and start clogging and feed bugs and possibly rats. Going back to standard piping would be about $20
Cost of disposal itself depends on the size you want. Hiring a plumber-1-2 hours so likely 100-200 depending on their rates.
If you are a bit handy it can be done yourself. Please keep in mind that disposals are kinda being fazed out. Not that great for the sewer system.
Really why do people have these things. I would just have it removed.
