What’s better for water lines, hard plastic or flexible?
I am doing a plumber do over, what’s better for water lines, hard plastic or flexible? I’ve heard flexible was more durable against cold temperatures?

Why are you replacing work a plumber installed? This is worrisome. What was wrong with what the plumber did? Was the plumber licensed?
You should check the building codes for your area, your answer should be there. Water is insidious though, if you don’t get things sealed up properly you’ll have leaks. Ideally find a better plumber to fix it.
