If you don't have - or already have tried a plumber's snake with no good results, try this: pour 1 cup baking soda in drain followed by 2 cups vinegar, let that work for at least 30 to 40 minutes then pour one gallon very hot ( boiling) water down drain. This should get it opened. then each week pour 1/4 cup of baking soda and 1/2 cup vinegar - let set at least 15 minutes followed by quart of very hot water to keep drain clog free.

Put about a half cup of baking soda down the drain, follow it with a cup of vinegar and let it sit until it stops fizzing. Follow it with about a gallon of boiling water. If it is a double sink, do both sides at once. If you have a lot of water in the sink, try to remove as much as you can so that the hack works more efficiently. If it still drains slow, try once again on both sides with the three steps. If it doesn't start freeing up the drain after two times, the clog may be deeper than it can reach and may need to be roto rootered. I had a clog that didn't want to stay open for more than an hour and it ended up the clog was in the drain pipe almost out of the house in the basement (have a friend who is a plumber and he brought in the pro tools to get all the way down to the clog). The drain pipe from the kitchen sink is outside of the wall in the basement with an access port you can open. The pipe inside, after doing the hack the times, was so clean you could have eaten off it. It was opened to make sure the snake was going down the pipe and not curling up. He even said he was going to start using the hack to keep his drain pipes flowing and clean as mine was. You can do the same for the bathroom tub/shower and sink, but you will need to remove all the hair you can get out first, that is usually what slows those drains down the most. There is a zip it tool that you can get at home improvement stores and even Walmart to remove the hair easily. I hope this helps you unclog your drains!
