It is about septic tank. How do I know when I need to have it pumped? Also is it okay for me to flush my dog's number twos down the toilet? I read that hair can mess up the septic tank but my dog is short haired. TIA

Definitely no hair in a septic tank. No reason why the dog cannot use it too. Do not put down too much paper. If you hear gurgling or the sink is slow to drain then it is getting full. Keep track on when you are having it emptied and generally how long it takes to fill it up again. Some tanks have an alarm systems but they do not always work correctly.
