How to fix a leaky toilet?

The toilet seems to lose water after awhile and then it starts to fill it up again at a very shrill sound. It doesn't leak at the bottom, but seems to leak into the bowl.

The flapper is not sealing and needs to be replaced. -

Check out the flopper inside of the tank.....sounds like it is not seating properly and letting water leak into the bowl. You may need a new one...the whole apperatus is easy to put in. -

Sounds like you need to replace the flapper. Easy fix for just a few dollars. -
