The pipe that my shower arm goes into leaks. My shower arm will only twist into the pipe 2 times so it leaks. Do I need to replace the pipe, if so how?

get some plumper tape and wrap it around the threadsmaking sure you wrap it in the direction you are screwing the pipe back on. It shouldn't leak after that.

Sounds like your threads are damaged a better idea is get a pipe tap and a die run the tap into the fitting then take the die and run that over your threaded pipe. Should clean up both, then apply the teflon tape and reinstall. Little bit of a process but it will fix it the right way.
