How do I remove fuzz from sweatshirts?

You can buy a shaver but be careful, it's easy to cut a hole in the fabric.

If you are not willing to use a razor or a fuzz ball removing machine then there really isn't much for options. You can't wash the pills off. You have to shave them off or pick them off with your fingers. Shaving them off is much faster.

There are electric fabric shavers, which are faster, but I agree with one of the other answers about liking the Gleener Fuzz Remover, which is a hand tool, but it's a little more ergonomically friendly than a razor blade.

They make de-pill combs,, and electric ones. One trick I did on a clients blanket that was so bad it was gross..... I put it on an ironing board and used my hair clippers with the smoothest blade.... being careful to hold at 45 degree angle to you don't catch the fabric. Good luck. Wash them inside out so don't get too agitated in the wash.

they make interchangeable sweater defuzzers that look like a small squeegee. I ordered one from Amazon that has adjustable clip on bars. One for fine knit, one for coarse knit. They all take time. There is not mystery or secret to getting the pilling off.

Hi I highly recommend the plug-in or battery operated sweater shavers. They remove those annoying pills very effectively and effortlessly. I will use this device on sweaters as well as other clothing with pilling.
