Hi Dana, here is an article that might help you.

Hi Dana,
I'm Linda and I'ma Hometalk helper. The best way to do a handle is to weld it in order to give it the strength that it needs to handle the weight of the pan. I found a video that might help you, but unfortunately the creator block what he's doing when he welds. If you know how to weld or have a friend who has that skill, that would be the best way to fix it so that it's strong. Take a look at the video and see what you think. Wishing you the best.

I would try JB WELD. I fixes things & I have used it on my cast iron stuff & it worked.
IF YOU HAVE TO PAY TO GET IT WELDED, YOU CAN POSSIBLY GET A NEW ONE CHEAPER.
