Help with replacement storm door handle?
Moved into a new house within the last year and our door won’t stay latched, I took apart to realize a small circular piece is broken. I cannot find a handle comparable to replace. Any idea of what will work or what kind of door it may be to write the company??
I have looked all over the door for any manufacturer or brand name and no luck.

It is dripping wet between the storm door and the inside door! help!
As it gets colder it can even be frozen solid on the glass. I get my arm wet as I hold the storm door open to lock it. How can I stop this? Thank you!

Take the handle to a Locksmith. They see many different brands, and may even have a replacement part that will give you an inexpensive fix. Good luck, Kaitlyn! (that's also my granddaughter's name!)
Have you gone to Home Depot, Lowes, Menard's, or Ace Hardware, There are universal locksets that should work.
I think you should try to find a fix. I have an older storm door. The only handle replacements are cheap and break easily. I've shopped all over and it's the same handle in all the big stores. Try some older hardware stores some of them stock unusual pieces.
Our door knob on the entry door is off set and has to have a special extension piece. The knob itself can't be replaced since it's unusual.
You might want to try a mobile home supply store. Sometimes they have window and door parts that aren't used in regular houses anymore.
Also, we had a local repair guy, who does windows, awnings, etc., who has a box of used window cranks - he can't get them new anymore, so he salvages them.
If there is a local machine shop (fabrications), they might be able to duplicate the broken bit.
Good luck!!
Is this door part of a sunroom? It is very similar to our door handle/lock/latche that came with the sunroom package doors. We get the replacement parts from Temo Incorporated, 20400 Hall Road, Clinton, TWP, MI 48038.
It appears on the box they get it from Merchants Fastener Co, 1075 Satellite Blvd, Swanee, GA 30024.
Good luck. No local hardware stores could help us, either.
YES!! I have the exact problem and no one has been able to help. I called Temo today and hopefully they can help me.
TEMO Has the handles in stock now! They have been waiting and waiting, finally received them in. 800-344-8366 , www.temosunrooms.com
(800) 344-8366 - Yes & may I add $70, Custom Re-Made, Brass only, but tax & shipping included
Take the handle into any big box store and they should have what you need.
Hav you check with amazon.com?
I am a repair technician and work for a company that sold these Sunrooms, that is a Temo Sunroom door handle from an old generation Late 90's to Early 2000's only place that we have found to get them is from Temo directly.
Take the handle to a big box store and show them and see what they have that in close to this.
March 2024: I was trying to find a spring latch with a 1-1/2 inch setback to replace the one that broke inside our 2004 Temo Sunroom door latch. You aren't going to waltz into your local big box store and find the one that you need.
I called Temo to get help finding what I needed and was assisted in going to "luxurybackyardliving.com" and found what I needed in the "View Replacement Parts" link under the "Products" tab. I needed the ML-30 latch bolt: $13.41
This was the only place that I could find what I needed.
Hope this helps! Good luck!
